Tool will be hitting the road in North America this year for the first time since 2012. 

The prog metal act has announced plans to play a string of shows along the West Coast in the spring, starting March 4th with a show in Spokane, Washington. So far the trek only includes five stops in the U.S. and a pair of gigs in Mexico.

Meanwhile, the tour news also adds more fuel to the rumors that Tool will have a new album out this year.  It would be the band's first studio release since 2006's 10,000 Days.
