Jumbotrons at Coldplay concerts are having a moment this summer.

Earlier this month, former Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and CPO Kristin Cabot were seen romantically embracing on the jumbotron at a Coldplay concert, notably without their respective spouses. The moment quickly went viral on social media, and both have since resigned from the company.

Then, a few weeks later, professional soccer starĀ Lionel Messi and his wife,Ā Antonela Roccuzzo, were featured on the big screen at the Hard Rock Stadium show in Miami Gardens, according to People.

"Well, Lio, my beautiful brother, you and your wife are looking so fine. Thanks for coming today to see our band play, the No. 1 sportsperson of all time," lead singer Chris Martin sang.

Messi was not the only Coldplay fan serenaded during the Magic City stop of the band's Spheres World Tour on Sunday (July 27). The beloved frontman also zoomed in on a "beautiful" man in the crowd that he couldn't help but sing to.

"You guys are beautiful. She's beautiful, my brother, but you are really something else. So we're going to focus on you."

The fan flexed his bicep, and Martin replied, "Yes, keep the guns up," before singing, "Oh, hello, my beautiful brother. I've just got one thing to say. In 1998, I thought I was straight; tonight, I think I'm switching to gay."

Followers reacted to the moment, shared by iHeartRadio's Y100 Miami (via lagringamaslatina), remarking, "Coldplay taking over 2025 was not on my bingo card. I’m loving it tho," and "Coldplay owning summer of 2025."
