Welcome to... the life of Ronald Orzabal!
The Tears For Fears founding member shared with fans via Instagram on Wednesday (April 8) that he has an autobiography arriving this summer.
"You've known the songs for 40 years. Now read the story behind them," the band captioned the post that featured the book's cover, entitled Welcome to Your Life: Love, Death, and Tears for Fears.
"Roland's memoir... is the story he's never told — the band, the fame, the heartbreak, the healing. And yes, the astrology," the post continued.
The forthcoming book will detail Orzabal's personal life and career, including the formation of the band and the highs and lows of his relationship with cofounder Curt Smith, per Pitchfork. It will also cover the passing of Orabal's wife, Caroline Orzabal, in 2017.
The "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" duo released their most recent album, The Tipping Point, in 2022, which was their first new material in 18 years. In 2023, the iconic pop pair launched a North American tour alongside opener Cold War Kids, before releasing the live album Songs for a Nervous Planet in 2024.
The memoir is slated for release on August 4.
