May 11: Drew Strikes Back Benefit Concert Supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

The Historic Howard Theatre Hosts Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras, Donating 100% of Proceeds

Drew Strikes Back is hosting a benefit concert at the Historic Howard Theater on Thursday, May 11th with headliners Tom Sandoval & the Most Extras, made famous from Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules

Drew Strikes Back, is a group of passionate individuals and businesses with various personal connections to cancer, driven to support the mission of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  The team, led by Stephanie Snapkoski, mother to Drew, a 10-year old cancer patient in remission, has set a goal to raise $552,000 during a 10-week philanthropic competition ( LLS’s Visionary of the Year, formerly Man and Woman of the Year) to support LLS’s mission to cure cancer.

“When you see anyone battle this disease, it changes you, but watching my own child fight for his life, can destroy you,” Snapkoski said. “I had no choice but to take that emotion and direct it to do whatever I can do to support this organization that has set out to destroy this disease. In addition to traditional fundraising asks this fiercely competitive and passionate team has partnered with Tom Sandoval & the Most Extras and the incredibly generous Howard Theater, who has donated the space for the evening.”  Additional Sponsor include Red Thinking, ThunderCat Technology and the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington D.C.

Tom Sandoval has gone above and beyond for this event. Tom is donating silent auction items, a percentage of the meet and greet sales along with a percentage of his merchandise sales directly to the Drew Strikes Back cause. The Howard Theater team is donating 100% of ticket sales for the evening and has waived all rental fees.

In addition to this benefit concert, the Drew Strikes Back team has cultivated a number of events in the DC area to help the team reach their goal of $552,000. These events include a golf tournament, a partnership with D.C. United and an event at Solace Brewery. More information on those events can be found at https://linktr.ee/drewstrikesback_lls

Anyone can make a donation before the Grand Finale Event on June 3rd. To do so, please visit  www.drewstrikesback.com or contact Stephanie Snapkoski at Drewstrikesback22@gmail.com. Follow along on Facebook and LinkedIn at @Drewstrikesback and on Instagram at @drewstrikesback_lls.
